Realtime Pathtracer
Realtime Physically Based Rendering
Traditionally, path tracing was a technique used for high end film renders that required long wait times for every frame. We have been working to bring this level of quality into a live environment. Our research allows us to achieve realistic lighting, complex materials, and accurate shadows in real time. By moving away from traditional rendering shortcuts and simulating actual light behavior, we can create visuals that feel much more natural and physically accurate. This project serves as a foundation for our future installations, where we aim to provide cinematic visual quality that responds instantly to user input or live data.
